Terms
Version 2026-10-19.4
called.app takes no liability for the workspace. You cannot create an account or sign in unless you accept these terms and the privacy policy. That acceptance is recorded.
1.These terms
These terms are the agreement between you and called.app for the workspace, the numbers you attach to it, and every call made or answered through it. They apply to the person who creates the account and to the company that person names. “You” means both. “We” means called.app.
The service is a workspace for inbound and outbound calls: numbers you connect or that we issue, a voice that can speak on those numbers, and a history of what happened on the line. The privacy policy explains what information is kept. Both documents apply together. If they ever conflict about personal information, the privacy policy decides that point.
This version is dated 2026-10-19.4. The copy published at called.app/terms is the one that applies.
2.Acceptance is recorded when you sign in
You accept these terms and the privacy policy by creating an account, and again each time you sign in. Signing in is the acceptance. We keep a record of it: which account accepted, which version, the time, whether it was a new account or a later sign-in, and the network address and browser that were presented with that sign-in.
If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not sign in. A sign-in without that agreement is refused. When we publish a new version, the next sign-in accepts the new version, and that acceptance is recorded as well. Earlier records stay.
You confirm that you are at least 18 and that you may bind the company you name. If you sign in for a company, that company is bound by what you do in the workspace.
3.Your calls, your data, and your actions
The workspace is a means. Everything done with it is yours. You decide whom to call, who may call you, when a call happens, what is said, what is collected, what is kept, and what is done with it afterwards. We do not choose your callers, your lists, your scripts, your hours, or the outcome of a conversation.
- Every call placed or answered through the workspace is your call, including a call the voice on your line places or answers because you turned that on.
- Every fact, recording, summary, number, list, or note that enters the workspace is your data, including information about people who are not your account.
- Every action in the workspace is your action: adding a number, forwarding a line, showing a caller identity, starting or ending a call, reading history, and signing in.
You are the one who must have the right to do those things. That includes the right to use each number, the right to display the caller identity you display, the right to call or message each person, and a lawful reason to handle their information. Any notice, consent, or opt-out those people must receive is for you to give, before the call where the law requires it.
We do not review your calls before they happen, and we do not take them over. A result you dislike — a missed call, a wrong booking, a confused caller, a complaint, a fine, or a claim — stays with the account that ran the call. You will deal with the person on the other end.
4.The workspace
An account is one workspace for one company. It holds the profile you submit (your name, email, phone, company name, company size, and tax number), the business document you upload for verification, the numbers attached to it, and the calls on those numbers. You are responsible for keeping the profile true and for protecting the password or the Google account you use to sign in.
Anyone who signs in to the workspace can use it as you can. What they do counts as what you do. Tell us if you believe someone else is signing in, and change the password. Until you do, activity under the account remains activity of the account.
5.Numbers and caller identity
You may attach a number you already control, by forwarding or by connecting your own telephone system, or you may ask for a new number. A number we issue is licensed to the workspace for as long as the account is open and in good standing. It is not sold to you. You may not move it, pledge it, or present it as owned by someone else unless we have agreed in writing.
Outbound calls show a caller identity only when it belongs to a number you control and have verified. You will not display a number you do not have the right to display. You will not forward, connect, or port a number you do not control. Porting, where it is offered, happens only after you ask for it, and you remain responsible for any effect on the service that number is bundled with.
Cancelling a forward, disconnecting your telephone system, or asking for a number to leave the workspace is your action. Until that is done, calls to that number may still arrive here, and those calls are still yours.
6.The voice on your line
Where a voice answers or places calls for the workspace, it does so on your instructions: the direction you enable, the hours you allow, the words you set, and the next step you permit, such as a message, a booking, or a transfer. You decide what it is allowed to say and what it must never say. You will not ask it to deceive, to impersonate a person, or to hide that a caller is speaking with an automated voice where the law requires that to be clear.
A voice can misunderstand, invent a detail, or follow an instruction you did not intend. You will read outcomes that matter and you will not rely on a call for a decision that needs a qualified person, including medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions. What was said on the call is said for you.
7.People on the other end of the line
Callers and the people you call are not our customers. Your relationship with them is yours. You will comply with the rules that apply to calling them: consent where consent is required, do-not-call and time-of-day rules, identification of who is calling, and any recording notice.
You will not use the workspace to harass, threaten, defraud, or mislead, and you will not call emergency services. The workspace is not a substitute for an emergency line and must not be used as one.
8.Records of calls
A call can leave a history: who was on the line, the direction, the time, the duration, the status, and, where the workspace keeps them, a summary or the words that were spoken. That history exists because you used the workspace to make or take the call. You decide whether a notice is played and whether anything beyond the fact of the call should be kept. You are answerable to the people on the call for that choice.
Duration may be measured so the call can be shown in your history and, where a price applies, so it can be counted. Measured time is a record of your use.
9.Use that we will stop
You will use the workspace only for lawful business calls. You will not use it to break calling, privacy, consumer, or advertising law, to send unlawful traffic, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell it as your own telephone service without our written agreement.
We may refuse, pause, or end a number, a call, or an account when we believe the use breaks these terms or the law, or when a carrier, a regulator, or a court requires it. We may do that without notice when waiting would increase the harm. Pausing the workspace does not, by itself, delete your numbers. Ending the account is described below.
10.Price
Where a plan is free, it stays free until we say otherwise in these terms or on the price we publish. Where a price applies, the price published in the workspace or on the site at the time of use is the price, and measured time and numbers can both be charged. Taxes are extra when the law adds them. You will pay amounts that come from your use, including use by anyone who signs in to the account.
If a payment fails or an account is suspended for payment, calls may stop. Suspension does not erase the history or the numbers by itself. You still owe amounts already incurred.
11.Availability
Calls depend on networks and on the number you attached. We work to keep the workspace available, and we do not promise that every call will connect, that audio will be clear, or that a voice will be correct. Maintenance, capacity, and failures outside the workspace can interrupt a call. You will not depend on the workspace as the only way to reach someone when a failed call would cause harm.
12.We take no liability
The workspace is provided as it stands, with all faults. We promise no result, no volume, no uptime, and no fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, every warranty is excluded, whether it is written down or only implied.
We take no liability for the workspace or for anything that follows from using it. That includes a call that fails, a call that connects, anything a voice says or fails to say, a number that does not work, information that is lost or wrong, a complaint, a fine, lost profit, lost business, and any other loss, whether direct or indirect. Your calls, your data, and your actions stay yours.
Where the law does not allow liability to be excluded altogether, it is limited to the smallest amount that law allows, and never more than the fees you actually paid us for the workspace in the twelve months before the claim. If you paid nothing, that amount is zero. This is the whole of our liability for every claim together.
The law itself does not let a contract erase liability for intent. That liability stays. Every other liability is excluded.
13.Claims that come from your use
If a person, a carrier, or an authority brings a claim, a fine, or a cost because of a call you made or took, data you put in the workspace, a number you attached, a caller identity you displayed, or any other action under your account, you will defend that claim and you will pay the cost, the fine, and the amount of any settlement or judgment, including reasonable legal fees. We will tell you promptly and will not settle in your name without talking to you, unless a delay would miss a deadline.
14.How long this lasts
You may close the workspace at any time by writing to us from the email on the account. We may close it by giving you thirty days’ notice, or immediately if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if the account has been suspended and the cause is not cured within fourteen days of notice.
Closing the account stops new calls. Sections that by their nature should continue — acceptance records, your responsibility for calls already made, claims from your use, limits on liability, and the law that governs — continue. How long call history is kept is described in the privacy policy.
15.Changes
We may change these terms or the privacy policy. The new version is dated and published at the same address. If a change is material we will say so in the workspace or by email to the address on the account before it applies, unless the law forces a faster change. Your next sign-in accepts the published version and is logged. If you do not agree, do not sign in, and close the account.
16.Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Berlin have exclusive jurisdiction, except where a mandatory rule gives a consumer a different court. The workspace is offered for companies. You and we both waive any right to a class or representative action to the extent the law allows that waiver.
If a court holds one sentence unenforceable, the rest stays in force. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement about the workspace and replace earlier talk about the same subject.
17.Contact
Questions about these terms, and questions about personal information, go to hello@kalled.app. Write from the email on the account so we can match the message to the workspace.
